Writing for stage and film

Dr. Tony Fisher, BA, MA, PhD

Tony Fisher specialises in continental philosophy, dramatic writing, experimental filmmaking and performance theory, with a particular emphasis on political activism and ‘socially engaged’ theatre practices.

He trained initially in fine art and subsequently in philosophy. He has been teaching at Central since 2007, and has been the convenor of the Research Degrees Programme since 2009. He is currently the  co-convenor of the Philosophy and Performance working group at TaPRA.
